Lahore to Neelum Valley, with a driver

The road

Wikipedia says the Neelum Valley starts just after Muzaffarabad. Keran, on the Neelum River, is 93 km from Muzaffarabad. Athmuqam, the district headquarters, is linked to Muzaffarabad by an 80 km road. An OpenStreetMap drive to Keran’s Wikipedia coordinates that uses the M-2 and the E-75, checked on 30 Oct 2026, was 587.9 km and 7 hours 27 minutes: about 327 km on the M-2, about 38 km on the E-75, the N-75, and about 34 km on the S-2, the Kohala–Muzaffarabad road, then the valley. The Murree page is the stop before that descent.

Tolls

ProPakistani, on 10 July 2026, reported the NHA car toll for the Islamabad–Murree dual carriageway, the E-75 or IMDCW, as PKR 300. The M-2 end-to-end car toll of PKR 1,430 (Dawn, 5 July 2026 to 23 April 2027) is the Lahore–Islamabad figure; this car continues toward Murree. The valley road after Muzaffarabad is not given a toll in that notice. Confirm the tolls on WhatsApp. They are extra.

Rest stops

Break at Kallar Kahar on the M-2, then at Murree, where the E-75 finishes, before Kohala and Muzaffarabad. Keran is the valley stop 93 km beyond Muzaffarabad, not a motorway service area.

The fare is quoted on WhatsApp. One-way and multi-day fares are quoted on WhatsApp. The driver is included. Petrol and tolls are extra.

The Prado is the SUV for the valley road after Muzaffarabad. The Fortuner 2026 is the newer SUV if more of the day is motorway. The Land Cruiser still leads the fleet list. The order on this page is Land Cruiser (LC-300 look), Fortuner 2026, JAC T9, Prado, then Yaris. Every car comes with a driver. Self-drive is not offered.
