Lahore to Nankana Sahib, with a driver

The road

Nankana Sahib is named for Guru Nanak. Wikipedia calls the birthplace gurdwara a protected heritage monument, and places the city about 91 km west of Lahore and about 75 km east of Faisalabad. It was part of Sheikhupura District until 2005. An OpenStreetMap drive between the Wikipedia coordinates, checked on 30 Oct 2026, was 75.8 km and 58 minutes, a different measurement from the 91 km figure. That route enters the M-2 at a toll plaza, uses about 2 km of the M-2 and about 48 km of the M-3, then Nankana–Mangtanwala Road and the Nankana Bypass. Overseas visitors who also want Kartarpur can continue with the Kartarpur page. Faisalabad is the city 75 km the other way.

Tolls

The route uses a toll plaza, but not a full motorway. Dawn’s PKR 1,430 is the whole M-2 to Islamabad, through 23 April 2027. ProPakistani’s report of the 10 July 2026 NHA notice gives PKR 1,000 for a car on the whole M-3 to Abdul Hakeem. This trip is a short piece of each, so neither total is the Nankana toll. Confirm the plaza amount on WhatsApp. It is extra.

Rest stops

After the motorway the named road is Nankana–Mangtanwala Road, so Mangtanwala is the approach into the city. The gurdwara is the destination, not a highway rest area. The drive is under an hour, so one stop is plenty.

Same-day return

A same-day return that fits 8am–11pm is the full-day slot plus 25%. The Yaris is PKR 6,250 on Mon–Thu and from PKR 10,000 on Fri–Sun. The Fortuner 2026 is PKR 18,750 on Mon–Thu. Driver included. Petrol and tolls are extra. One-way and multi-day fares are quoted on WhatsApp.
